No. 9 Volleyball Set for Road Contest Versus Crimson Tide

TUSCALOOSA – The No. 9 Texas A&M volleyball team closes its two-match road trip at Alabama as they face the Crimson Tide at Foster Auditorium Sunday with first serve set for 2 p.m.
The Aggies secured their best start to conference play since 2020, as they won their third-consecutive league match following an impressive four-set victory over South Carolina.
Texas A&M's pins Logan Lednicky and Kyndal Stowers led the offense, as they accounted for 36 of the teams 57 kills logging 18 each.
Ifenna Cos-Okpalla continues to be the tone setter on defense, as she recorded her second double-digit block game of conference play with 10. She also climbed to No. 8 in the Aggie record books in career blocks with her eighth of the game.
Ava Underwood also reached a significant milestone, as the Maroon & White's libero became the 23rd Aggie to reach 1,000 career digs.

Texas A&M and Alabama prepare for the 22nd meeting between the teams. The Maroon & White hold a strong 15-6 advantage in the series and won the most recent contest last season where the Aggies secured a four-set victory at Reed Arena.
The Crimson Tide fares well in the matchup when playing in Tuscaloosa, splitting the eight games played on their home court, 4-4, including the last match at Foster Auditorium played in 2023.
Alabama enters the match 8-5 overall and 0-3 in SEC play, while the Aggies sit at 11-2 and 3-0 in league play.
