BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M volleyball's Ifenna Cos-Okpalla earned back-to-back SEC Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors following a pair of dominant road victories, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Cos-Okpalla's weekly honor counter now stands at 10, as she secured her third SEC Player of the Week nod and the seventh Defensive Player of the Week accolade of her career following a pair of wins over South Carolina and Alabama. She recorded 14 blocks, 13 kills and seven aces in seven sets of work.
In the opening match of the week, the Flower Mound, Texas, native recorded her second double-digit block game of conference play with one solo and nine assisted stuffs.
