NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK

Vrazel leads the team in batting average (.481), second in doubles (3) and third in on-base percentage (.548). On opening weekend, the duo sparked the Aggies to a four-run fifth inning after Dement tripled and Vrazel doubled to score Dement in the comeback win over No. 19 Baylor. The pair stepped up once again the 1-0 victory over ACU when Dement hit a leadoff double in the fourth as Vrazel followed with a double to drive in the lone run of the game. Sydney Lessentine has started in the circle in each of her two appearances earning wins in each outing. The righty has a 0.64 ERA in 11.0 innings of work with 12 strikeouts, while yielding only one run and five hits as opposing batters are mustering a .132 average at the dish.
