No. 12 Aggies Start SEC Road Play Against the Hogs

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 12 Texas A&M men's tennis team travels to the Billingsley Tennis Center to open road action against No. 39 Arkansas on Friday, Feb. 28, with first serve set for 5:30 p.m.
The Aggies (7-4, 1-0 SEC) are coming off a three-match weekend at home, with two wins against conference opener LSU and Lamar.
The team is led by senior JC Roddick and sophomore Tiago Pires. Roddick has been a constant on court 2, logging a 6-3 record this season. Pires is looking to extend his three-match streak on court 4, accumulating a 5-2 record so far.
The Hogs (11-4) are currently 1-1 in SEC play, opening with a win against Ole Miss. The team heads back to Fayetteville looking for a rebound after a loss against conference opponent Oklahoma, 6-1.
The two teams met in conference play last season at home, with the Hogs narrowly beating the Aggies, 4-3. Senior Luke Casper claimed one of two singles points for the Aggies. Roddick, junior Togan Tokac and sophomore Lathan Skrobarcek all helped the Maroon & White earn the doubles point.
