BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M soccer team welcomes the Houston Cougars to Ellis Field Sunday for a 7 p.m. match, closing out the 2025 spring schedule.

The Aggies have enjoyed increasing success as spring has progressed, including earning 1-0 wins in a pair of mini-matches last week against Texas Tech and Rice. The Maroon & White have draws against Sam Houston (0-0), Dallas Baptist (0-0) and TCU (1-1).
Tulsa transfer Leah Diaz has tallied two goals in the spring while junior Kennedy Clark has one goal and one assist.
The Aggies feature 12 newcomers. The new kids on the block includes seven transfers and five early enrollee freshmen. The roster also features four redshirt freshmen returning to the lineup after playing a combined one match in 2024 campaign before suffering season-ending injuries.
Texas A&M's rebuild includes 12 returning letterwinners looking to get the Maroon & White back to their winning ways which in concluded 26 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances from 1995-2020.
Despite the proximity of the campuses, the Aggies and Cougars have only met on one occasion in a fall match with the Maroon & White posting a 7-0 home victory in 1999.
Houston is in its first season under new skipper Ben Williams. Last year the Cougars limped to a 4-12-1 finish, including a 1-10-0 mark in Big 12 action.
