Sep 04, 2025 | Soccer
NACOGDOCHES – The Texas A&M Aggies battled the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks to a 0-0 draw in Thursday's action at SFA Soccer Stadium.
Texas A&M (3-0-3) remained undefeated on the season heading into their last non-conference match Sunday at No. 4 TCU.
The Maroon & White were unable to leave town with a victory despite monopolizing possession throughout the match. Texas A&M owned a 25-9 edge in shots, including 8-4 in shots-on-goal. The Aggies were unable to capitalize on an 8-2 shot margin.
SFA's goalkeeper Sierra McCluer made eight saves. Sydney Fuller made four stops for A&M as she recorded her first shutout of the season and the fifth of her career.
Coming of SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors, Kaylee Noble was the Aggies' top attack threat with five shots, including three shots on goal. Bella Yakel also had a pair of shots on goal with free kicks.

On the match...
"I'm disappointed. You get 25 shots, you go to be able to put at least three of them away. I thought we were pretty toothless in attack tonight. Overall the defensive performance and the midfield performance we were in control of the game. They (SF) laid back and played a low block against us, which is always hard to break down. But we had a few players that get close and they hit the ball five feet over the goal – just not acceptable.
