Saturday’s Match Versus Michigan State Canceled

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 2 Texas A&M women's tennis team's ITA Kickoff Weekend match against Michigan State has been canceled with the Spartans withdrawing from the tournament due to weather-related travel concerns.

The Aggies return to action Tuesday with a match against either Arizona State or TCU at Mitchell Tennis Center for a chance to advance to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship from Feb. 6-10 in Illinois. Tuesday's match time is to be determined.

Texas A&M is off to a 4-0 start following 7-0 wins over Tulane, Lubbock Christian, Air Force and Sam Houston on the opening weekend. Lucciana Perez, Lexington Reed, Daria Smetannikov, Violeta Martinez and Anna Perelman all registered 4-0 marks in single play to open the year.
