BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M track & field's Henry Zimmerman improved his own school record in the men's weight throw on the opening day of the Ted Nelson Invitational Friday evening at the R.A. 'Murray' Fasken '38 Indoor Track & Field facility.
Coming off a school-record showing at the Corky Classic, Zimmerman continued to strengthen his position at the top of the Maroon & White's all-time performers list in only his second meet for the Aggies. The New Albany, Ohio, native recorded a toss of 22.10m/72-6.25 in the third round to ensure the event win and new Texas A&M school record. His toss ranks him 13th nationally in the event and fourth in the SEC this season.
