Feb 17, 2026 | Men's Basketball
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M men's basketball team returns to Reed Arena to take on Ole Miss Wednesday at 6 p.m. and will debut their Corps of Cadets uniforms.
The Aggies look to get back in the win column after falling at No. 19 Vanderbilt over the weekend, 82-69. The two teams traded scoring runs throughout the first half, but the Commodores took a late edge to hold a 36-32 lead at halftime. Vanderbilt continued to pull away in the second half as the Aggies weren't able to get closer than seven in the final period. Marcus Hill registered his second 20-point game of the season, leading the way with 20 points, while Rashaun Agee added 11 rebounds, eight points and two blocks.
Hill has been a spark on the offensive end for the Aggies as of late, scoring in double figures in four of the last five outings. He is averaging 15.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in that span, shooting 62-percent from the field.
Agee has remained consistent on both ends of the floor, scoring in double figures in 12 of the last 14 games and registering 13 double-digit rebounding games this season. He is averaging 14.6 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in SEC play. On the year, Agee ranks second among league players averaging 8.9 rebounds and 6.3 defensive boards per game.
The Aggies are No. 9 in the country in scoring offense with 89.8 points per game and have seen at least 30 points come from non-starters in 16 games this season, including 30 at Vanderbilt. The Maroon & White rank second nationally and lead the conference averaging 37.3 bench points per game.
