BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 5 Texas A&M Women's tennis team hosts No. 22 South Carolina at the Mitchell Tennis Center Saturday with first serve set for 12 p.m.
The Aggies enter the match with a 13-3 overall record and a 5-1 mark in SEC play. The Maroon & White most recently faced No. 1 Georgia, falling 5-2, marking their first conference loss of the season.
The matchup features several ranked players across both lineups. Texas A&M is led by No. 5 Lucciana Perez, who owns a perfect 15-0 record on the season, including a 6-0 mark in conference play. The Aggies also feature three additional ranked singles players including No. 28 Mia Kupres, No. 60 Ilinca Amariei and No. 86 Violeta Martinez.

South Carolina enters the contest with a 9-5 overall record and a 2-4 mark in SEC play. The Gamecocks are 1-2 in road matches this season.
Texas A&M holds the recent advantage in the series, winning each of the last six meetings against South Carolina. The Aggies most recently defeated the Gamecocks, 4-0 at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
