No. 22 Baseball Returns Home for Midweek Contest with UIW

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – No. 22 Texas A&M returns to Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park for a five-game homestand, beginning with a midweek bout against UIW at 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
The matchup will be broadcast on SEC Network+ and may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats, or on X, @AggieBaseball.
Tuesday's contest marks the 10th all-time meeting between the two programs, with the Aggies (10-1) leading the series, 8-1, over the Cardinals (7-5). The two clubs last met in 2025, with the Maroon & White prevailing 21-1 in a seven-inning run-rule.
Over the weekend, the Aggies went 2-1 at the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Texas A&M suffered its first loss of the season to No. 1 UCLA on Saturday, but bested Virginia Tech, 10-0, and topped Arizona State, 9-3.
The Maroon & White scored 20 runs on 20 hits and three home runs. Chris Hacopian blasted his first home run as an Aggie on Friday and Jake Duer drilled his second homer of the season in Saturday's contest. Caden Sorrell opened the scoring for Texas A&M on Sunday with an opposite-field home run, his sixth of the year.
Offensively, the Aggies rank inside the top 25 nationally in batting average (.333), on-base percentage (.467), slugging percentage (.587), home runs (21) and runs scored (108).
The Aggie pitching staff has been efficient through the first 11 games of the season, leading the country in K/BB ratio (5.71) and walks allowed per nine innings (1.66). The Maroon & White's 1.04 WHIP is the ninth best nationally.

- Shuttle Buses will be available to ADA guest starting 2 hours before first pitch and 1 hour postgame. Pick up will be on Olsen Blvd in front of Lot 102 to the Plaza of Blue Bell Park.
