No. 20 Baseball Returns Home to Face Sam Houston State

COLLEGE STATION – No. 20 Texas A&M baseball returns to Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park to begin a four game homestand, hosting Sam Houston on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The contest will broadcast on SEC Network+ and may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.
Tuesday's matchup marks the 139th meeting all-time between the programs, with the Aggies (22-5) holding a 93-43-2 record over the Bearkats (14-13). In matchups at Blue Bell Park, Texas A&M is 55-17-1. The clubs met twice last season for a home-and-home midweek series, with the Ol' Sarge's Charges claiming both contests by run-rule decision.
The Maroon & White are coming off a three-game sweep of Missouri to claim its first series win in conference play. The Aggie offense was potent, plating 39 runs behind 11 home runs and seven doubles.
Gavin Grahovac received SEC Player of the Week honors after his performance against Missouri, ending the weekend with four home runs, 12 RBI, seven runs, two stolen bases and four walks. His grand slam in Sunday's finale marked the 31st of his career in Aggieland, which ranks 10th all-time at Texas A&M.
Another standout was Jorian Wilson, who received SEC Freshman of the Week recognition. The Hallettsville, Texas, native went 6-for-12 at the plate, belting two home runs, a double, four RBI, three runs and one stolen base across the week.
Offensively, the Aggies rank inside the top 10 national ranks in on-base percentage (.455), slugging percentage (.573), home runs (53), runs scored (265) and walks (178). On the mound, the Maroon & White lead the nation in walks allowed per nine innings (2.53) and rank second in the country in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.63).
