
Perez Named to SEC All-Tournament Team

BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M's Lucciana Perez earned a spot on the SEC Women's Tennis Championship All-Tournament Team for her performance during the team's run to the semifinal round.
Perez earned a top 10 win in both singles and doubles play. She toppled No. 9 Bridget Stammel of Vanderbilt, 6-4, 6-3 on court 1. She also teamed with Mia Kupres to defeat No. 6 Celia-Belle Mohr/Sophia Webster of Vanderbilt, 6-3.
The Lima, Peru, native was also leading Auburn's No. 23 DJ Bennett, 6-2, 6-7(3), 2-0 when play was halted in the semifinal round.
Perez is 5-1 all-time in SEC Championship action. She posted a 3-0 record during the 2024 tournament.
This season, Perez owns a 23-0 singles mark and she finished SEC regular-season action with a 13-0 record. Her doubles record stands at 12-7 with six wins against ranked opponents.
