
Four Aggies Named NCEA All-Americans

WACO – Four members of the Texas A&M equestrian team earned Ariat All-America honors, as announced by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Tuesday afternoon.
Grace Shipman earned first team accolades in Fences. Moriah McQueen secured a spot on the second team in Reining, while Mattie Gustin (Reining) and Kate Egan (Flat) earned honorable mention recognition.
Shipman posted an 8-4 record in her sophomore season, along with two MOP honors and an 84.18 scoring average. The Ridgefield, Connecticut, native recorded a 5-3 mark against SEC opponents and posted a career high score of 89 at No. 2 Georgia. She also boasts a 15.81 average margin of victory against one ride of 0.
McQueen holds a 9-3 overall record, including a perfect 7-0 mark against SEC opponents. The junior went undefeated at the SEC Championship, helping the Aggies secure their first conference title. She earned a career-high 72.5 against Fresno State to earn her lone MOP honor of the season. Across 12 rides, McQueen has totaled a 70.15 scoring average and an average win margin of 8.89 against one ride of 0.
Gustin, who was named an NCEA All-American for the third consecutive season, has compiled a 7-4-1 record with a 70.53 scoring average this season. The Aledo, Texas, native tallied three MOP honors this season, including one in the semifinal upset of No. 1 Auburn at the SEC Championship. Over her 12 rides this season, she compiled an average win margin of 1.13.
Egan posted a 5-6-1 overall record this season, winning both her rides at the SEC Championship to clinch the title for Texas A&M. She recorded an 82.32 scoring average across 12 meets and a 5.44 average margin of victory. Egan's ride of 88.67 on Major set a new team high and personal best to earn her third MOP honor on the season during the Aggies' conference title run.
