2023-24 (JUNIOR)
Returning from a year away from the program, Pittman was a contributor to the Aggies historic season… She finished the season with an 8-3 singles record and was 6-2 in doubles play… Pittman played a role in the Maroon & White’s third-consecutive SEC regular season title, as she was a perfect 3-0 in league singles play on court 6… She concluded the year with four-match win-streaks in both singles and doubles.
2021-22 (FRESHMAN)
Went 10-6 overall in singles including a 5-1 mark in dual match singles play… Defeated Ariane Monlleo Sanchis of McNeese in a 6-1, 6-0 outing on opening day… Defeated Sofia Fortuno of Texas State in her second career dual match… Breezed by Prairie View’s Mahogani Green in a 6-0, 6-0 performance… Cruised against Nicole Petchey of SMU in straight sets… Earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over Andrea Guerrero of ACU… Completed her freshman campaign at 6-6 in doubles play, joined by six different partners… Went 1-0 in dual match doubles with Isa Di Laura.
2021-22 TOURNAMENT RESULTS: Posted a 5-5 singles record thru fall tournament singles, featuring her first collegiate win over Ana Paula Jimenez of UT-Arlington at the Rice Invitational… Finished the fall season red-hot, winning five of her last six singles matches… Swept her opponents at the Texas A&M Fall invitational, all in straight sets… Went 5-6 in doubles play, pairing up with five different partners.
PERSONAL: Born in the fall of 2002 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ellie Pittman is the daughter of Steve and Shelly Pittman… She is one of four siblings and has two sisters, Katie and Molly, as well as a brother, Sam… Currently majoring in Business Administration at the Mays School of Business, and expects to graduate with her Bachelor’s degree in May of 2025… Upon graduation from Texas A&M, she aspires to continue her tennis career professionally… Pittman is a member of the FCA and participates in volunteer activities with the organization… In her free time, she enjoys shopping, baking, working out and spending time with friends
