2018-19: Cross Country - Part of the Aggie crew competing in the SEC Championships, finishing 99^th with a time of 21:36.2 on the 6,000m course … Placed 20^th in Aggie Opener, running 15:35.8 for 4.1k … Finished 35^th in Texas A&M Invitational, covering 6k in 23:09.1 … Posted time of 18:24.9 for 5k to place 83^rd at Loyola Lakefront Invitational. Indoors - Competing in the mile to start indoor season, placed 13^th at Reveille Invitational (5:15.62) and 22^nd at Ted Nelson Invitational (5:18.56) … Raced at 3,000m in the Texas A&M Triangular, placing seventh in 10:39.40, and in Charlie Thomas Invitational, finishing 19^th in 10:44.07 … Also finished 11^th in mile at Aggie Twilight with a 5:18.55. 2017-18: Cross Country - Placed 68^th in SEC Championships, running 22:21.1 on the 6,000m course and finished sixth among Aggie squad … Finished 44^th in NCAA South Central region meet, clocking a 21:16.4 on the Texas A&M Watts course … Opened season placing 13^th in Aggie Opener (15:07.5, 4k) … Finished 22^nd at Georgia’s Bulldog SEC Preview (22:56.3, 6k) and Texas A&M Invitational (21:53.6, 6k). Indoor - Entered the 3000m on four different occasions and the mile once...Ran a season best mile time of 5:07.83 at the Reveille Invitational...Clocked a personal best 3000m time of 9:54.61 at the Texas A&M Quadrangular. Outdoor - Finished top-3 in five of the six races entered...Finished second in the 1500m with a personal best time of 4:43.73, also placed third in the 5000m in 17:55.28 at the Houston Alumni Invitational...Recorded a season best 5000m time of 17:50.50 at the LSU Invitational.

2016-17: Cross Country - Top cross country finish in the fall was an 11^th-place effort at the Aggie Opener… Placed 107^th at the SEC Championships at Arkansas. Indoor - Indoor best of 10:01.01 placed her second in in the 3,000 at the Aggie Twilight, and her 17:20.07 in the 5,000 at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational placed her sixth… Her mile best was 5:05.23. Outdoor - Competed in two 5,000m races and one 3,000m outdoors, and three 3,000m races and one mile indoors.

Prep: Placed second in the 1,600 and 3,200 at the 2016 state 5A meet with personal bests of 4:58.26 and 10:41.17… won district, area and Region II titles in both events… Fifth in the 800 and seventh in the 1,600 at the 2015 state meet as a junior… Silver medalist at the 5A state cross country meet as a senior after a bronze in 2014… Won Region II gold as a senior.

High School: Graduated from Forney High School in 2015 among top 10 percent… Competed in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200… Coached by Lauren Watts and Sandy Cook… Also competed in softball… Member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.

Personal: Lauryn Bailee Barrientos was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 28, 1998, and her hometown is Forney, Texas… She is the daughter of Andy & Dyana Garcia… Sibling is Emma Garcia… Started competing in track and field when she was 12… Community service and extracurricular activities include Aggies BUILD, Chi Alpha, AWIB (Aggie Women in Business), and SAAC… Majoring in Marketing… Chose A&M because, "I knew from the moment I visited that this place was special. The culture, the people, the passion, was something that I truly couldn’t feel anywhere else."
