Grant Hendrix

Former Houston Texans operations and logistics manager Grant Hendrix is in his first season as the director of operations for the Texas A&M men’s basketball team in 2024-25.
Hendrix held a variety of roles for the Texans over the past six years, including as the team’s football operations and team logistics manager under director Clay Hampton since 2022.
Hendrix was responsible for the Texans’ lodging needs and managing hotel relationships within Houston, while also overseeing communication with airline ground operations for all road game travel. He supported new player and staff onboarding as well as any other logistical needs within the club. Additionally, he was a member of the Special Teams unit, assisting with all on-field needs and practices.
In 2023, the Texans placed first in the team travel department category and received an A+ rating in the first-ever NFL Players Association team report card survey.
He previously served as the executive assistant for former Texans head coach David Culley, helping create practice scripts, form daily itineraries and overseeing correspondence. He started his career with the Texans as an intern in football operations and facilities in 2019.
A 2017 graduate of Auburn University, Hendrix began his career in athletics as a graduate assistant in facilities and operations under Jeff Steele from 2018-19 and the business office under Zach Springer from 2017-18 at Auburn, while pursuing a pair of master’s degrees in business administration (MBA) and information systems (MSIS). As an undergraduate, he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a double major of finance and entrepreneurship & family business.
A native of Lexington, South Carolina, Hendrix is the son of Gregg and Wendy Hendrix and has two sisters, Sarah Ball (husband Andy) and Claire Hendrix.
