High School: Lettered three years in cross country and track & field...Was a state qualifier in three years of competition, finished 15th as a junior in 2018...Helped her team record two top-5 team finishes at the state championships including a third place finish in 2019...Was named the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State MVP in cross country as a junior, also earned all-region honors...As a senior she was named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association Academic All-State team...Was the 2019 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Cross Country MVP...Personal bests: 800m - 2:24; 1600m - 5:28; 3200m - 11:55; 3 mile - 18:23; 5K - 18:30.

Personal: Daughter of Michael and Kathy Mitchel...Graduated in the top 10% at Amarillo High School and was a Super Intendant Scholar in all eight semesters...Was an active member of the student council as the executive council senior class secretary, also a member of PALs, the National Honor Society, Rescuing Leftover Cuisine and the Ken Club...Plans to major in Kinesiology.
