High School: Coached by Mike Gibson and lettered all four years...Set a school record in cross country clocking a 15:10.31 5K...As a senior he was runner-up at the UIL 6A - District 15 cross country championships, placed 13th at regionals and 16th at the state championships...Competed at the Nike Cross Nationals South Regionals finishing sixth...As a junior on the track he was runner-up in the 1,600m (4:16.41) and 3,200m (9:13.00) at the district 15 championships...Personal bests: 1,600m - 4:16.41; 3,200m - 9:13.00; 5K (XC) - 15:10.31.
