Kristen Grant is in her third season (2017-18) as Video Coordinator, after serving as Director of Player Development/Assistant Video Coordinator for the Texas A&M women’s basketball team in 2014-15. Grant played for the Aggies from 2010-14, and was a member of Texas A&M’s 2011 National Championship Team.
During her tenure on the Texas A&M coaching staff, she has helped the Aggies to extend their streak to 12 straight NCAA Tournament appearances. She has been a player or on staff for the last seven of those appearances.
Grant played in 70 games in her collegiate career, including the victories in the 2011 National Championship game against Notre Dame and the 2013 SEC Championship game against Kentucky. While at A&M, her teams made the NCAA Tournament in each of her four seasons, finishing with a 12-3 record in the NCAA Tournament. Overall, her teams went 109-34 over her four-year playing career.
Grant graduated from Texas A&M after just three-and-a-half years, and started her current graduate work for her final semester on the team.
Grant’s brother, Nick, served as the Aggies’ video coordinator from 2012-14, and is currently an assistant coach at San Diego State.
