2011 FALL RESULTS: Competed at the Midland Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational, the ITA Texas Regional and the UNC Kitty Harrison Invite...Went 2-4 in doubles and 1-8 in singles...Was 1-2 with Sheri Olivier and 1-2 with Janelle Cuthbertson...Three of singles losses were in three sets.
PREVIOUS ATHLETIC BACKGROUND: Was the No. 1-ranked singles player in Queensland, Australia in the 15s, 16s and 17s age groups, as well as No. 2 in all of Australia in 17s. In addition, she was ranked as high as 53rd in the women's open division in Australia...Qualified for the WTA $25,000 Ipswich main draw in 2009...Won several national and state titles in both singles and doubles and was a three-time Sportswomen of the Year at her high school, Northside Christian College, where she also was a member of the cross country and track and field teams...Competed in the cross country and track and field state championships from 2003 to 2006 and served as team captain in 2005.
