2017-18 (FRESHMAN)
Went 14-14 in singles, including 8-5 in dual matches only…Was 7-3 at the No. 3 line…After appearing in only one match during the SEC regular season, won the last match standing in A&M’s second-round victory over No. 24 Kentucky at the SEC Tournament and earned the Aggies’ only point in a 4-1 quarterfinal loss to No. 2-ranked and eventual tournament champion Vanderbilt...Also won the last match standing in the Aggies’ 4-3 NCAA first-round match against Rice, fighting off three match points to defeat Savannah Durkin, 3-6, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (6), to win her season-best third consecutive match and send the Aggies to the second round...Went 12-15 overall in doubles, including 8-5 in dual matches only and 2-3 in SEC matches only...Paired with freshmen Riley McQuaid and Tatiana Makarova, as well as senior Macarena Olivares during the spring season...Went 3-1 with Olivares at No. 2 and closed out the spring going 3-1 with McQuaid at No. 3.
2017-18 TOURNAMENT RESULTS: Went 6-9 in singles and 4-10 in doubles…Made her A&M career debut at The Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational in Midland, Texas, and reached the semifinals in doubles with freshman partner Riley McQuaid…The pair finished the fall 3-4.
PREVIOUS ATHLETIC BACKGROUND: Held the No. 1 ranking in Romania in the under 12 and 14 age groups…Was No. 3 in Romania in under 16s and was ranked as high as No. 195 in the world in under 18s… Was No. 1181 in singles and No. 1204 in doubles in the 2016 year-end World Tennis Association (WTA) rankings…Won both the singles and doubles titles at the 2009 Open des 10/12 in France and the 2010 winter and summer national championships…In 2011, won both singles and doubles titles in the U14 division in three tournaments in Europe…Was the U14 winter national champion in 2012…Had numerous top three finishes throughout 2013 and 2014…Was the doubles champion at the 2015 Kenana Cup in Haskovo, Bulgaria and the 2016 Plovdiv Cup in Bulgaria.

The team has had success over the years and everyone helps you succeed not only in sport but also in the classroom and in life.
