W.A. “Buck” Prewitt ’60, a lifetime member of the Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association, a member of the 12^th Man Foundation Champions Council as well as a Legacy Society Member of the Texas A&M Foundation has been very involved in numerous civic activities and serving on a multitude of charitable foundations and will be inducted into the Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association Hall of Honor. He served as mayor of Temple and received a 1990 commendation from the Texas Governor’s Committee for Disabled Persons. Currently living in College Station, Prewitt continues to be involved serving on the Board of the Bryan College Station Homebuilders and chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee and recently elected to the board of the Brazos County A&M Club and served on the board of the Texas A&M Golf Association.
