Women's Basketball Promotions: Veterans Appreciation On Nov. 13 vs. UCA

Texas A&M women's basketball hosts its 2016-17 season opener on Sunday, November 13 as Central Arkansas, an NCAA Tournament team that went 28-4 in 2015-16, visits Reed Arena at 6 p.m. It is the Veterans Appreciation Game at Reed Arena. In addition, the AGGIES CAN food drive is taking place, where the donation of four canned goods results in free admission to the game.
VETERANS APPRECIATION GAME
Local veterans are invited to attend the game at a special discounted rate - just $3 per ticket. The online promo code to purchase tickets in advance is available to veterans by e-mailing 12thManMarketing@athletics.tamu.edu by Friday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. The offer is available on gameday at Reed Arena as well.
Select Texas A&M student veterans will be honored at halftime, along with a special performance by the Aggie Dance Team.
MINI AMERICAN FLAG GIVEAWAY
The first 1,000 fans receive mini United States flags, given out at the main, north and west entrances.
AGGIES CAN
Texas A&M student-athletes are hosting their annual AGGIES CAN drive. Fans receive free admission to the game with the donation of at least 4 canned goods (per person). For details, visit www.12thMan.com/aggiescan
HOME OPENER
This game is the home and season opener for the 2016-17 women's basketball team. The Aggies are 38-4 in home openers all-time and 29-13 in season openers.
DOUBLEHEADER WITH VOLLEYBALL
The Texas A&M Volleyball team takes on Georgia at 1 p.m. inside Reed Arena on Sunday. Fans with a ticket to the volleyball game can show their ticket for admission into the women's basketball game.
KIDS COURT OPEN
Prior to the game children are invited to in Kids Court inside the women's practice gym from 5 to 6 p.m. Kids will have the chance to shoot baskets or participate in other games and activities.
Kids and parents can access Kids Court by entering the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball from the arena concourse behind Section 121 and following the signage for Kid's Court.
