The No. 25 Texas A&M's women's basketball team hosts its popular Elementary School Day on Wednesday, November 30 at 11 a.m. as Southern Cal comes to visit. Nearly 5,000 schoolchildren from across the Brazos Valley will be in attendance.
The game is broadcast on SEC Network Plus, with Mike Wright and Tap Bentz on the call. Authenticated subscribers can access the game exclusively on WatchESPN and the ESPN app through their computers, smartphones, tablets and smart TVs. Tom Turbiville and Bret Dark bring the game to listeners on KZNE 1150 AM and on 12thMan.com.
This is the fourth version of Elementary School Day, with the Aggies winning each of the previous three editions. Texas A&M has averaged 7,635 over the three games, which makes this the fifth-largest Elementary School Day in the nation.
The Aggies are 5-0 for the third consecutive season, and entered the AP Top 25 for the first time this season on Monday. Texas A&M features the nation's leader in assists per game, Curtyce Knox (8.8).
USC is off to a 5-1 start, with their lone setback coming on Nov. 19 to UNLV. Kristen Simon leads the Women of Troy with 14.5 points per game, followed by Minyon Moore at 14.2 points per game. The Trojans are coached by former Houston Comets star Cynthia Cooper-Dyke, who not only helped the Comets to four WNBA championships, but led the USC to two NCAA titles as a player.
After this game, the Aggies head to the Metroplex for games at SMU (Dec. 5) and TCU (Dec. 8), then return home to host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Dec. 10.
