No. 25 Texas A&M faces former conference foe SMU in a women's basketball game at Moody Coliseum on Monday, December 5.

The Aggies are 5-1 to start the season, and features the nation's leader in assistsr, Curtyce Knox, who is averaging 9.3 per game, the most by any player in Division I since 2010-11. Anriel Howard ranks second in the nation in rebounds, averaging 13.5 rebounds per game, along with 11.3 points.
SMU is 5-3 under first-year head coach Travis Mays, picking up key wins at Kansas and against Boston College in the early season. Alicia Froling leads the Mustangs with 17.1 points per game and 10.8 rebounds per contest.
The Aggies and Mustangs were members of the Southwest Conference until 1996. The Aggies lead the all-time series 27-17, including five straight wins against the Ponies.
After this game, the Aggies take on TCU on Thursday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1. The Aggies return to Reed Arena on Saturday, December 10 to host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
