No. 12 Texas A&M takes on No. 23 Tennessee in a women's basketball game at Reed Arena on Sunday at 3 p.m., in a game that features the only SEC schools that have won the national championship.
The game is the first regular season game in A&M history broadcast on ESPN, with Brett Dolan and Sue Bird on the call. Authenticated subscribers can access the game at no extra charge on the WatchESPN app through smartphones, tablets, computers and other connected devices.
Additionally, listeners can tune into Gabe Bock and Tap Bentz, who have the call on the Texas A&M Sports Network, which can be found on WTAW 1620 in Bryan-College Station. Fans can also access the radio broadcast at 12thMan.com/showcase or on the Radio Aggieland app.
The Aggies have played five consecutive games that have come down to the final minute, including two close losses to No. 2 South Carolina. A&M features the leading scorer in the SEC, Courtney Walker, who has posted 20+ points in six of the Aggies' nine SEC games, including a career-high 31 points against Florida.
This game continues a run of six ranked opponents in seven games for the Aggies.
Tennessee, coming off of Coach Holly Warlick's 100th career win, is led by preseason first-team All-SEC Diamond DeShields, who is averaging a team-leading 13.9 points. The Lady Vols and Aggies are tied for the crucial fourth position in the SEC standings, which grants the last double-bye in the SEC Tournament, at 5-4 in league play.
