
No. 7 Texas A&M Travels to No. 22 Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. – The No. 7 Texas A&M Softball team takes on No. 22 Ole Miss for a three-game series beginning Friday at 6 p.m. at the Ole Miss Softball Complex.
All three games can be seen on the SEC Network +, available through WatchESPN and the ESPN app and can be heard locally on Willy 1550 AM.
Texas A&M enters the weekend series with a 22-2 (2-1 SEC) record. Riley Sartain leads the team with a .435 average. Kristen Cuyos has a team-high five home runs, while Ashley Walters leads the team with 20 RBI. The Aggies hold a 1.16 team ERA, which ranks fourth in the SEC and 10th nationally. The staff is led by Samantha Show (9-1, 0.86 ERA) and Trinity Harrington (5-1, 0.85). Lexi Smith holds a 7-0 record and a 1.25 ERA.
The Aggies scored a season-high 15 runs on 15 hits in a 15-1 win over Memphis Tuesday night. Five Aggies recorded multi-hit games, led by Sarah Hudek, who went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI. Samantha Show recorded her ninth win of the season, allowing just three hits and an unearned run in four innings.
Ole Miss is off to a 21-3 start to the season, including a 9-1 record at home. Elantra Cox tops the Rebel lineup with the conference's best batting average at .570. Ashton Lampton has a team-high six home runs and 29 RBI while hitting .355. In the circle, Morgan Bruce totes a perfect 7-0 record with a 1.20 ERA, while Alyssa Clayton is 6-1 with a 1.88 ERA.
Texas A&M and Ole Miss have met 11 other times in series history as the Aggies hold a 9-2 advantage. In SEC action, the Aggies are 5-1, sweeping the last series in 2015 in College Station and took two of three in Oxford in 2013.
