On the Match…
"Today was a great day for the Aggies, we have talked a lot in the locker room this week about facing adversity. We lost two home matches and then had a rough road stretch playing a couple indoor matches. Even in the doubles today, we let the point slip away. In this scoring system there will be a lot of close doubles matches and some of them just won't go your way. For a team that has hit a rough patch of late and even how the doubles went today, for us not to go away shows amazing character. That's what we talked about, getting over the tough punches and how will we respond. In all six singles matches we were up or winning against the No. 5 team in the country. I couldn't be happier and more proud of the team today."
On the team's fight today…
"That has been our team motto this season, how tough can we be? Let's be known as a team that fights all the way through and we have done that all season. In a couple of those close matches lately we have been banged up and worn down but every match we have fought and clawed to the end. We are a team that has high expectations this season, we have had some ups and some downs but we won't go away. We have had some really good wins and some tough setbacks, the team showed a lot of character today."
On the team MVP today…
"I told the team after the match that everyone was the hero today. I talked to Dom [Gonzalez] about how important it was to get that quick win and put some scoreboard pressure back on Auburn. There were some matches we were up and couldn't close the door and some matches we were behind and found a way to get back in them. I truly think everyone on the court was an MVP today, I'm not sure we would have won all six matched but we were leading on all six courts. It was an amazing job that will hopefully lead us into a good match against a really good Alabama team on Sunday."
