No. 16 Women Win 73-54 At Alabama

Khaalia Hillsman co-led the Aggies (15-5, 4-2 SEC) with 20 points, scoring 20+ for the fourth time in five games. She added 10 rebounds, posting her fourth straight double-double, and matched a career-high with five blocks.
Chennedy Carter scored 20 points, giving her four straight games with 20+ points. Danni Williams added 13, and is now 40 points away from 1,000 in her career.
The Aggies (15-5, 4-2 SEC) stormed out to an 8-0 lead from the opening tip, and never looked back, posting their win in SEC play this season. Texas A&M lead 35-27 at halftime, and put away Alabama (13-6, 2-4 SEC) for good with a 16-2 run during the third quarter.
Jasmine Lumpkin matched her collegiate career-high with 11 rebounds.
The Aggies return to action on Monday, January 22, to host LSU at 6 p.m. on Dollar Dog Night, with television coverage on SEC Network.
Aggies Ranked 14th By NCAA Selection Committee
Prior to tonight's game, NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Committee ranked Texas A&M No. 14 in the first of three first Top 16 reveal, meaning if the season ended on January 16, the Aggies would host first and second round games in the NCAA Tournament. The first and second rounds of the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship will be played March 16-19 on the home courts of the top 16 seeds.
