COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 6 Texas A&M men's tennis team travels to Houston to take on No. 24 Texas Tech at the Downtown Club at the Met Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. (CT).
Texas A&M enters the match with a 4-1 record after suffering their first defeat of the season at No. 2 Ohio State Friday evening. The Aggies split singles matches after missing out on the doubles point to nearly defeat the top-5 team on the road. Texas Tech enters the match at 11-2 overall and 1-2 against ranked foes, winning at No. 15 Virginia in the ITA Kick Off Weekend, but dropping neutral site matches against No. 21 Florida State and No. 23 Columbia.
The Aggies remain on the road next weekend, traveling to Seattle, Wash. to take on the ITA National Team Indoor Championship field Feb. 16-19 at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. Texas A&M will find out its seed and first opponent in the Pacific Northwest later this week.
