Trio of Aggies Open Play at NCAA Singles Championship

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Headlined by No. 5 Patrick Kypson, a trio from the Texas A&M men's tennis team will begin play in the NCAA Singles Championship Wednesday at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.
A pair of Aggies will open play against players from No. 16 Columbia, Kypson will take on No. 62 Jackie Tang at 8:00 a.m. while No. 48 Jordi Arconada will take on No. 27 Victor Pham at 1:30 p.m. Sophomore Valentin Vacherot earned a place in the bracket as an alternate after replacing his cousin and teammate, No. 12 Arthur Rinderknech. Vacherot is set to take on No. 19 Nicolas Alvarez of Duke at 7:00 a.m.
Arconada and Juan Carlos Aguilar will take on No. 43 Jack Lin and William Matheson of Columbia as the national No. 3 seed in Thursday's doubles draw, start times for doubles have not been determined.
