On National Siblings Day, 12thMan.com highlights Taylor and Tera Ziemer, a pair of Texas A&M standouts from Santa Rosa, California.
Taylor started all 22 matches in her first season in Aggieland, logging 12 points on five goals and two assists. Including two seasons with the Virginia Cavaliers, she owns 67 Division I caps, including 59 starts. She boasts 44 career points on 17 goals and 10 assists.
Tera has played two seasons with Texas A&M, appearing in 44 matches, including 24 starts. She boasts 12 career points on four goals and four assists. Last season she logged four goals and an assist and as a freshman, she assisted on three goals.

Besides soccer, what is the thing you love to do together?
Taylor: We love traveling and trying lots of delicious foods. In addition, we love to watch Disney original movies together (the new ones that are so terrible, but we actually enjoy them so much).
Tera: We love watching movies.
What do you like about your sister?
Taylor: She is fun to be around, smart, and never afraid to be herself.
Tera: She is super selfless and always takes care of people.
What do you and your sister have in common?
Taylor: We are both into politics and we are very passionate about our beliefs.
Tera: A love for travel.
What’s your funniest memory together?
Taylor: Tera was an adorable little child. She used to talk in this monster voice and say “Tasmanian Devil” and it was the most hilarious thing.
Tera: In Tijuana, Taylor had to pretend to be the Uber driver’s wife and my mom when the police stopped us.

Describe your sister in just three words.
Taylor: funny, smart, free
Tera: selfless, driven, super-smart
What is one thing you can do which your sister can’t?
Taylor: I keep my room clean.
Tera: I can juggle better than she can.
What’s a weird habit of your sister?
Taylor: It’s not that weird and it’s not that much of a habit, but Tera could basically spend an unlimited amount of time in her bed. I have never met anybody so attached to her bed in my life.
Tera: She only watches the beginning of shows and then looks up the plot online.
What was your biggest fight?
Taylor: I can’t even remember.
Tera: I’m pretty sure I called Taylor a “b$&#%” when I was like 12 and then we didn’t talk for a while.

What are you most likely to argue about?
Taylor: Who the favorite kid is. It is Tera, for sure. My whole family calls her the princess and we all know she is the favorite, but for some reason she denies it.
Tera: It is usually about me being mean.
Who is most likely to deal with a spider?
Taylor: I think me, but honestly, it doesn’t really come up that much.
Tera: Taylor.
Who is the better driver?
Taylor: It depends. Most would say, Tera, but I’d get you there faster and it would be more of a fun adventure.
Tera: Tera.
Describe the last thing you did with your sister.
Taylor: I woke her up by letting our crazy dog Freddie jump onto her bed and trample her.
Tera: We went to San Francisco and did cool things.
