Coach Guerrieri Weekly Press Conference

Coach G Guerrieri spoke to the press inside the Kyle Field Media Center Monday before preparing for LSU and Ole Miss.
Last week, Aggie soccer split a pair of results with a tough loss on the road to No. 12 Arkansas and a win over the Rice Owls on Ellis Field Sunday evening.

Guerrieri referred to the development of his team when asked about the direction the group is headed.
“…it's a matter of continuing in the direction we want to go and remembering how good this team is…it just goes to show how tough and close the margins are in the SEC…”

Coach praised the group for their effort and attitude while highlighting the importance of execution when we find scoring opportunities.
“…there's no shortage of desire. Our intensity of our players, the energy they bring to the game, the energy that comes from our crowd and from Hullabaloo and all the groups that are at our games is phenomenal. It's just that last bit of execution to make it go…"
To conclude, Guerrieri previewed Thursday night's home match with LSU.
“…you can't just stop them at doing one particular thing because they have the ability to score in a lot of different ways…being back at home will help us, surely, but they're a really really good team and will be a really tough out for us."
