Aggie Track & Field Splits Weekend Travel to Raleigh and Houston

HOUSTON, TX – The Texas A&M men's and women's track & field teams travel south to Houston to the Victor Lopez Classic at Holloway Field on Friday and Saturday, while the distance squad competes at the Raleigh Relays at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility on Thursday and Friday.
At the Victor Lopez Classic, teams competing include host Rice, Arkansas Little Rock, Houston, Houston Christian, Lamar, McNeese State, North Texas and Sam Houston.
Competition begins Friday with the Hammer Throw at 9:30 a.m., while the distance events kick off at 7:30 p.m. Fans can follow the action on the live results provided by Flash Results, while the live stream can be found on MileSplit.
The Raleigh Relays is filled with some of the top distance talent in the nation. The men's 1500m is set to go off at 3:30 p.m. CT, while the men's 3000m Steeple will start at 4:33 p.m. CT and the men's 5000m lines up at 5:33 p.m. CT. On the women's side, the 10,000m is scheduled for 8:57 p.m. CT.
