Aggie Track to Compete at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Texas A&M men's and women's track team opens competition at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field on Thursday.
The 127th running of the Penn Relays begins Thursday and will continue through Saturday night. Hosting athletes from high school through masters, the Penn Relays is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, dating back to 1895.
Texas A&M returns to the Relay Carnival for the first time since 2015. The Maroon & White have won 28 relay championship titles at the meet, 10 on the men's side, and 18 for the women. Most recently, the 2015 women's 4x100m team claimed victory in the team's last outing in Philadelphia.
On Thursday, the Aggies have athletes listed in the men's 400m hurdles, men's 1500m, men's and women's 3000m steeplechase and men's and women's 5000m. Find the Penn Relays schedule here.
