NASHVILLE - The Texas A&M men's basketball team seeks its fourth-straight SEC victory in 6 p.m. matchup against the Vanderbilt Commodores on Tuesday at Memorial Gymnasium.

VU's historic Memorial Gymnasium has been a tough road assignment with the Aggies posting just two wins in seven games since joining the SEC in 2012-13.
VU leads the overall series, 10-8, with all but one matchup coming as SEC members (VU 79-69 win in Nashville in 1955).
In the Buzz Williams era, the Aggies are 3-2 vs. VU, with a pair of wins last season. Williams' first Aggie squad won in Nashville, 69-50, on 1/11/2020.

The game will be televised on ESPNU with Dave Neal (play-by-play) and Daymeon Fishback (analyst) on the call.

TRENDS AND NOTABLES

The Aggies have connected on better than 40.0% from the field in three straight games for the first time since the ESPN Events Invitational on Thanksgiving week (vs. Penn State, FAU and Iowa State).
The team is shooting 43.7% from the field over the past four games, compared to 32.9 FG% in its first six league games.
Texas A&M leads the SEC in fewest turnovers for the overall season (9.6/G) and SEC play (9.2/G). The Aggies have suffered 10 or fewer TOs in eight straight games, including a school record two giveaways vs. ARK (1/16). Three of the program's 13 games with five or fewer TOs since 1996-97 have come in 2023-24.
Tyrece Radford has three consecutive 20-point+ games (26 vs. UF, 22 at MIZZ, 27 vs. UT). He has reached 20 points in six games in 2023-24, all Aggie victories. The Aggies are 12-1 in games when Radford hits the 20-point plateau since his arrival in 2021-22.
Radford's 2.9 offensive rebounds/G in SEC play rank tNo. 5 among all players and No. 1 among players under 6-foot-7. In fact, 'Boots' is the only player under 6-foot-7 in the top 20.
SEC Sixth-Man of the Year candidate Andersson Garcia has 33 rebounds in his past two games - 16 at MIZZ and 17 vs. UT. He is the third Aggie with 16 or more rebounds in back-to-back games in program history and the first to accomplish it since Damon Johnson pulled down 16 vs. SMU and 18 vs. Baylor in 1995.
In 10 SEC games, Garcia has posted exactly 100 rebounds - 50 offensive and 50 defensive.
Perhaps the 6-foot Wade Taylor IV's most impressive stat is his 4.2 defensive rebounds/G in SEC play. It is the highest average among any SEC player under 6-foot-4.
Henry Coleman III has scored in double figures just once (10 vs. MU on 1/23) in six games since taking an elbow to his upper body against Kentucky (1/13). He reached double digits in eight of 14 games prior to UK.
In SEC games, the Aggies lead the league in FTs made (17.4) and FTA (25.5). After a slow start at hitting free throws, the Aggies have connected on 70.6 of their freebies over the past three games.

Buzz Williams' next victory will be the 90th of his career at Texas A&M, which would match the win total of legendary coach D.X. Bible. Also a noted football coach, Bible won three Southwest Conference hoops titles from 1920-27.
