MILESTONES TO WATCH
- Wade Taylor IV needs three points to reach 500 points in 2023-24. With 100 assists already to his credit, he would become the second player in school history to post 500 points/100 assists in consecutive years (Bernard King in 2000-01 and 2001-02) and the eighth SEC player to do it at least twice since 1996-97. Taylor posted 572 points and 162 assists last season.
- The most recent SEC player with consecutive 500/100 seasons was LSU's Tremont Waters in 2017-19).
- Henry Coleman III needs 10 points to reach 1,000 at Texas A&M. Coupled with his already-existing 600+ rebounds and 100+ steals, he would join Rudy Woods, Winston Crite, Joseph Jones and Bryan Davis as the only 1,000/600/100 players in school history (Note: Steals became an official statistic in 1985-86).
TRENDS AND NOTABLES
- The Aggies have lost three straight games, which is the program's longest losing streak since dropping eight consecutive decisions in 2022.
- Texas A&M leads the SEC in rebound margin at 9.5, while averaging 43.1 rebounds per game.
- The Aggies lead the nation in offensive rebounds/game at 18.1 and have garnered 20 or more offensive caroms eight times in 2023-24.
- A program that values drawing charges, Texas A&M hasn't drawn a charge since 1/23 vs. MIZZ.
- Andersson Garcia has taken sole possession of the national lead with 4.65 offensive rebounds/G, just ahead of Purdue's Zach Edey (4.58).
- The M&W leads the SEC in fewest turnovers at 9.9/G for the full season. Texas A&M is 3-8 when it doesn't win the turnover battle.
- The Aggies are 12-2 in games when Tyrece Radford hits the 20-point plateau since his arrival in 2021-22.
