WACO – The No. 19 Texas A&M women's tennis team dominated the Baylor Bears, 4-0, Sunday evening at the Hurd Tennis Center.

The Aggies (7-5) came out firing against the Bears (6-5) in doubles action. On court 3, Nicole Khirin/Sydney Fitch claimed the first win against Zuzanna Frankowska/Lauren Littell (6-3). Immediately following was the duo of No. 4 Mary Stoiana/Mia Kupres as they downed Brooke Thompson/Daniella Dimitrov (6-2) to ensure the doubles point.

The Maroon & White kept on the gas heading into singles play, taking the first set on all six courts. No. 1 Stoiana added her second win of the day on court 1 against Sierra Berry with a quick 6-0, 6-0 victory to increase the Aggie lead to 2-0. No. 19 Khirin joined in on the action, with a win over Zuzanna Frankowska (6-2, 6-4) on court 2. On court 6, Jeanette Mireles completed the sweep against Lindsay Patton (6-2, 6-2). On the remaining courts, No. 29 Kupres, Lucciana Perez and Daria Smetannikov all had the upper hand in their matches before the Aggies ensured the win.
