
Women’s Basketball Set to Battle Tennessee on the Road

KNOXVILLE – The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to face off against Tennessee inside Thompson-Boling Arena at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29.
The Aggies (18-9 6-8 SEC) are looking to sweep the season series against Tennessee after a 15-point victory earlier this season, where they held the Lady Volunteers to their second lowest scoring game of the year (56) inside Reed Arena. The Maroon & White are ranked No. 9 in the nation in rebounds per game (43.9) and rebound margin (9.8).
Aicha Coulibaly is averaging 13.2 points through conference play and scored 19 in the last matchup versus Tennessee. Coulibaly is also top three on the team in rebounds per game (5.6), assists (2.1) and steals (2.2) this year.
