
Women’s Basketball Set to Host Alabama on Senior Day

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team will face Alabama on Senior Day at 2 p.m. inside Reed Arena on Sunday, March 3.
Players being honored for Senior day prior to tipoff include Endyia Rogers, Sahara Jones, Kay Kay Green, Maliyah Johnson and Sydnee Roby.
The Aggies (18-10 6-9 SEC) are looking to close out SEC play with a win and are 12-4 at home this season. The Maroon & White have been impressive on the glass all season, ranking No. 10 in the country in rebounds per game (43.3) and No. 12 in rebound margin (8.9). Texas A&M is 14-1 when out-rebounding teams by 10-or-more this year.
Solè Williams erupted for a season-high 20 points and four 3-pointers in the last game versus Tennessee. The freshman guard leads the Aggies in scoring off the bench, averaging 5.5 points per game in 13.5 minutes and is second on the team in 3-pointers made this season (30).
Alabama (22-8, 9-6 SEC) heads into Aggieland with a 5-4 record on the road. The Crimson Tide ranks third in the SEC in scoring margin (13.2) and 3-pointers made per game (7.6).
