Dec 13, 2025 | Men's Basketball
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M men's basketball team returns to Reed Arena to host Jacksonville Sunday at 6 p.m.
The Aggies are back at home for the first time since Nov. 25 after closing out a three-game road swing against three ACC teams. Riding a five-game win streak into the Hoop Hype XL event in Arlington Sunday, the Aggies stumbled, falling to SMU in overtime, 93-80. Marcus Hill led the way with a season-high 25 points and seven rebounds, while Rashaun Agee made it three straight double-doubles with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Agee helps lead the league and ranks 24th in the country with four double-doubles on the year. His team-best 8.2 rebounds per game are good for fifth in the SEC, while his 82 total boards on the season are the second-most among league players. Over the last three games, the Chicago native is leading the way for the Aggies, averaging 17 points and 14 rebounds.
The Maroon & White have dished out at least 20 assists in five of their last six games to help them rank third nationally and lead the SEC averaging 20.7 assists per game. Jacari Lane has been leading the way in the category tallying 35 assists while only committing 10 turnovers on the year. Texas A&M also ranks among No. 4 in the country making 21.8 free throws per game and No. 10 averaging 40.7 bench points per game on the year. The Aggies have seen at least 25 points come from non-starters in nine of the team's 10 games this season.
Sunday marks the third all-time meeting between the Aggies and Dolphins. The two teams most recently matched up in December of 2006 when Texas A&M earned a 97-58 victory in College Station to take a 2-0 advantage in the series.
