SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Texas A&M Track & Field team travels a men's distance medley relay team to Notre Dame for its final regular-season meet of the indoor season Saturday at the Loftus Sports Center with the race starting at 11 a.m.
Preparing for their final tune up prior to the conference championships, the Maroon & White send a strong squad to the home of the Irish to attain a top-12 nationally-ranked mark in the DMR. The team will compete versus a stacked field, with their sights set on punching their ticket to the NCAA Championships in Virginia.

The Maroon & White impressed yet again at the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C. last weekend. Ja'Qualon Scott posted a time of 7.55 in the 60m hurdles that bested his own school record and secured him fifth place in the national ranks.
Keeping the momentum on the track, Megan Roberts crossed the line in 9:19.87 in the 3,000m to record a new personal-best time and climb to No. 2 all-time in the A&M record books. Gilbert Rono also added a victory on the oval, finishing in 4:02.01 to move up to seventh on the all-time performers list.
Shifting to the field, Aleksandr Solovev continued his dominance in the pole vault, clearing 5.65m/18-6.5 to add another win to his collection. In the women's triple jump, Winny Bii recorded a personal-best mark of 14.01m/45-11.75 to win the event, improving her mark at the No. 2 slot on the Aggie all-time list and break her own Kenyan national record.
The men's 4x400m concluded the meet, as the group consisting of Auhmad Robinson, Hossam Eddine Hatib, Antonie Nortje and Cutler Zamzow put up a blazing time of 3:02.21 to win the event and improve their national lead in the event. The Aggie men now boast the top-two times in the 4x400m in the country.
