No. 13 Aggies Wrap Up Homestand Against Crimson Tide
Mar 13, 2025 | Men's Tennis
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 13 Texas A&M men's tennis team hosts Alabama to round out a two-week homestand Friday with a 6 p.m. first serve at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
The Aggies (11-5, 4-1 SEC) are looking to go undefeated in its four-match home residency after wins against Auburn, Florida and Rice. Tuesday night's action against Rice led to a dominating showcase of singles play by the Aggies, not giving up a single court against the Owls to finish the night 6-1.
The Maroon & White currently boast five players undefeated in conference action, graduate Matthis Ross, senior Alan Magadan, junior Togan Tokac, sophomore Tiago Pires and freshman Theo Papamalamis. The Aggies have only won two of five doubles points in conference play, looking to strike early against the Tide.
Alabama (10-5, 2-4 SEC) has lost its last two conference matches and have yet to win a SEC match on the road. Texas A&M leads the all-time series 12-1. In the team's most recent meeting last April, the Maroon & White dropped a heartbreaker on the road, 4-3, for Alabam's lone win in the history between the two schools. Senior JC Roddick and Tokac claimed the only two singles points of the match.
Fans can watch the match through the live stream or follow with live stats.
