Aggies Earn 16 All-SEC Honors

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M track & field team earned 16 All-SEC honors at the indoor conference championships, the league office announced Tuesday.
The Aggies won 13 medals at the SEC Indoor Championships, resulting in 16 all-conference honors with 12 coming on the men's side and four on the women's. All-SEC honors are split across first, second and third team selections for athletes who won gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively.
A&M's men secured five gold medals, three silver and one bronze on its way to the programs first team title. The distance medley relay team consisting of Luca Santorum, Cutler Zamzow, Caden Norris and Cooper Cawthra won the first gold of the meet earning First Team status, they were followed by Blake Harris in the Heptathlon, Auhmad Robinson in the 400m, Sam Whitmarsh in the 800m and the final men's title came in the 4x400m courtesy of Robinson, Zamzow, Antonie Nortje and Kimar Farquharson.
Ja'Qualon Scott and Jack Mann III added a pair of Second Team honors in the 60m hurdles and pole vault, respectively. Rounding out the awards for the men was Khybah Dawson in the long jump, garnering Third Team status.
On the women's side, the group obtained four medals, one gold, two silver and one bronze. Winny Bii won the triple jump title to be named to the conference's First Team, Camryn Dickson and Sofia Yakushina claimed second-place finishes in the 200m and pentathlon, respectively, for Second Team honors, while Jaiya Covington rounded out the group earning Third Team status in the 60m hurdles.
