No. 1 Texas A&M Set to Host Louisiana to Conclude Non-Con Slate

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 1 Texas A&M softball team is set to host Louisiana in its final non-conference game on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Davis Diamond.
The midweek game is set to broadcast nationally on the SEC Network at 5 p.m. with Courtney Lyle (play-by-play) and Danielle Lawrie (analyst) on the call. WHERE THE AGGIES ARE NATIONALLY
Texas A&M (39-6) earned its first national No. 1 ranking in program history after being named the consensus No. 1 by all four nationally-recognized polls in Week 10. The Aggies have the No. 1 RPI in the nation, while their 21 wins against top 50 RPI teams are the most in the country. Through April 20, the Aggies rank third in the nation in hit-by-pitches (55), 11th in on-base percentage (.447) and 17th in batting average (.344), while their 329 total runs are 18th-most in the country.
