
Women’s Basketball Travels to No. 4 Texas for SEC Clash

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION - The Texas A&M women's basketball team heads to Austin for a matchup against the No. 4 ranked Texas Longhorns for the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown Sunday at 3 p.m. inside the Moody Center.
The Aggies (8-5, 1-3 SEC) are led by Ny'Ceara Pryor who sits just one point away from becoming the sixth player in NCAA history to record 2,000 points, 500 assists and 400 steals.
Fatmata Janneh continues to pace the team and the conference with 11.5 rebounds per game. Janneh is also averaging 12.1 points per outing and is one of four players in the SEC averaging a double-double for the season.
The Longhorns (18-2, 3-2 SEC) are coming off a 65-68 loss to No. 2 South Carolina and currently hold the all-time series 24-64 over the Aggies who have won 13 of the last 20 matchups dating back to 2006.
