BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 5 Texas A&M equestrian team opens its spring slate by hosting a top-five matchup against No. 3 South Carolina on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.

The SEC matchup marks the 39th all-time meeting between the Aggies (3-3, 1-2) and the Gamecocks (5-2, 1-2). The Maroon & White lead the series, 27-12. Texas A&M and South Carolina met earlier this season, where the Gamecocks claimed the victory, 6-14.
Last time out, Texas A&M fell to No. 7 SMU despite points from Kaitlyn Bloom, Kate Egan, Kaylynn Heitman, Grace Shipman and Devan Thomas.
