
Aggies Look to Defend Home Court Versus Auburn in Maroon Out Game

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team looks to defend its home court against Auburn Sunday night inside Reed Arena at 5 p.m. in its annual Maroon Out game.
The Aggies (9-11, 2-9 SEC) are led by Ny'Ceara Pryor who recorded 21 points, eight rebounds, four steals, three assists and a block in her last outing against Kentucky. Pryor paces the team with highs of 15.8 points, 6.5 assists, 3.7 steals and 33.0 minutes per game.
Janae Kent and Fatmata Janneh provided support on offense against the Wildcats, recording double-digit points versus the Wildcats. Kent finished with 13 points, tallying her 10th double-figure performance this season as she averages a career best 9.0 points per game. Janneh added 10 points marking her 13th 10-plus point game of the season and 54th of her career.
Auburn (13-12, 2-9 SEC) is coming off a 77-44 loss at home to LSU. The Tigers are 2-6 on the road this season and are led by Harissoum Coulibaly who is averaging 11.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. Since the first matchup between the two programs in 2007, the Aggies boast an 8-0 record at home versus Auburn.
Texas A&M defeated then-No. 21 Alabama last time it took the court at Reed Arena in a 72-69 triumph. The Aggies Janneh had a 12-point, 15-rebound double-double against the Crimson Tide, while Pryor poured in a game-high 20 points.
