
Track & Field Concludes Indoor Season at NCAA Championships

FAYETTEVILLE – The Texas A&M track & field team rounds out its indoor campaign on the road as it heads to Arkansas for the NCAA Championships held at the Randal Tyson Track Center, March 13-14.
Last Time Out
The Aggies opened their postseason slate at the SEC Championships, where the men complied 66.2 points to finish third, while the women collected 51 points earning seventh. The Maroon & White secured three gold, three silver, four bronze medals and dished out three school records.
The three gold medals at the conference championships were won by Morgan Davis (long jump), Blake Harris (heptathlon) and Peter Narumbe (800m). Securing the silvers was Machaeda Linton (long jump), Henry Zimmerman (weight throw) and Ja'Qualon Scott (60m hurdles). Wrapping up the podium spots with bronze medals were the women's distance medley relay team, Aleksandr Solovev (pole vault), Camryn Dickson (200m) and Auhmad Robinson (200m).
Returning Point Scorers
Looking back at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships the women's team finished the meet in seventh with 27 points, while the men placed 10th with 20 points. Returning scorers for the Maroon & White on the women's side included NCAA 60m hurdles champion Jaiya Covington, national runner-up in the pentathlon, Sofia Yakushina and Camryn Dickson. On the men's side, Auhmad Robinson took third in the 400m, Solovev was fourth in the pole vault and Scott crossed the line seventh in the 60m hurdles.
The Aggies send 16 athletes to represent the 12th Man, as the men have nine entries with five on the track and four in the field, while the women have six entries with two on the track and four in the field.

The list of competitors at the NCAA Championships is made up of the top-16 performing athletes nationally in the individual events and the top-12 ranking relays.
